A nationalistic renascence in the arts was produced by the Mexican Revolution of 1910–1920. Álvaro Obregón 's regime, inaugurated in 1921, provided a large budget for the Secretariat of Public Education, under the direction of José Vasconcelos, who commissioned paintings for public buildings from artists such as José Clemente Orozco, Diego Rivera, and David Alfaro Siquieros. Although these are probably La Farge’s best known songs, he also recorded several songs about love, blues, and cowboys.

Ritter: Woman as a Musician: an Art-historical Study (New York, 1876) A. It is based on Yueju (Cantonese Opera) music, together with new compositions from the 1920s onwards. This country town of less than 1,500 residents was once inhabited by the Acjachemen (Juaneno) Native American Tribe, then later home of the 1800’s Bluelight silver boom and early settler folk. While the 37-year-old’s path—from producing Nickelback smashes like “Photograph” and “Rock Star” north of the border to recording with Jake Owen and Florida Georgia Line south of the Mason-Dixon—may seem like a twisted one, it makes perfect sense to him. During the trip a double wedding took place among the band members, with Myra Hewitt marrying Cole Wilson while her sister Nola married Colin McCrorie. In 1920 Durufle entered the Conservatoire de Paris, where he took courses in organ with Gigout (Premier Prix, 1922), harmony with Jean Gallon (Premier Prix, 1924), fugue with Caussade (Premier Prix, 1924), and composition with Ducas (Premier Prix, 1928).
